The second part of the story board... I hadn't drawn for a while and so (in my opinion) in this second part, the images are of a slightly higher quality.

I do like how you had Kitana's hair fall out of the Bun after she was struck by Striker's dagger~

it would have been nice to have seen Kitana actually hit the ground, but nice touch on how downright similar Kitana and Mileena look. the later MK games kinda forgot that they were supposed to look alike in the first place~

Im glad you can tell that its fallen our of the bun, rather than me just changing the hair style... i wasn't sure how clear that was.

The original draft was actually quite a bit more graphic.. With impaling, and dismemberment... but as i was drawing the scene where Kitana is begging, something came over me and i couldn't handle the gore... so i toned it down ALOT. But hey maybe in the future ill work on an unedited version... maybe.

I know what you mean, im glad they separated and became their own characters... but somewhere along the lines there similarities were lost, which is a shame.

i'm curious is the violence too gross to be up on deviant art or something? why not host them on somewhere thats not too strict?

also the detail is pretty nice.

Its not just to do with Deviant Art, but also my tolerance about it. My focus was originally on design, rather than the actual drawings... however i received a few requests, so i gave them a go. But as much as i love Mortal Kombat i'm not always a fan of drawing gore, so i try and compromise :)
